The design process starts with a visit to your property to look at what is. A brief survey of site
elements will be conducted - existing plants, irrigation, soil condition, sun and shade exposure, soil
grade/elevation to list a few. Next we discuss a general vision of what the landscape will be. Good
landscape design begins with an understanding of the future use of the property. This involves a
combination of function and aesthetics customized to your preferences. Our designs tend to
emphasize native plants and low water landscapes. After this initial meeting, a detailed design
proposal will be given for the design services.
